Career Transition Centre’s inside Indian Army Regiments:
- Every soldier visits his parent regiment in the last month of his service with the Indian Army. We run Career Transition Centre’s inside multiple Indian Army Regiments across the country. This is where we interact with our Soldiers and guide them for their second careers on several topics like resume building, soft skills, how to search for private and government jobs, computer literacy, self-entrepreneurship etc. We also conduct several short duration government certification skilling programs here in domains like Security, Fire Safety, Computers etc.
- These Career Transition Centre’s serve as a bridge between their Defense and Civil lives. This is where their second career journey begins and we aim to be a part of their journey at least till they are independent and successfully resettled back in Civil. This serves as our small ‘Thank You’ to our Soldiers who have given their prime years for the safety of our Nation.
- Along with this, we also conduct several online skilling and career transition seminars for the to-be retiring and retired soldiers on a regular basis. This helps in an ongoing learning for the soldiers and also serves to help them clear their doubts about topics not only related to the area of skilling but also about interview preparation, resume building etc.
- Seminars are also conducted on various other topics like general awareness about welfare schemes for Ex-servicemen, Financial Management, Vipassana Meditation, Importance of Upskilling, how to use job portals etc.
- We also conduct Career Transition Programs (CTP’s) which are specially designed for the Soldiers wherein our objective is to train them to find their own jobs and make them independent. Various topics like how to register on the most popular job portals, how to make an ideal profile, how to search and apply for jobs, interview preparation, how to adjust to civil life etc. are covered in this unique program which is tailor made for our Soldiers.
